I found an old college chum on the web a few days ago. He now has an improv company called Face2Face Improv in the Huntsville AL area. I remember with painful clarity how insanely funny the head of the troupe, Eugene Banks, was in college, and I'm sure that the troupe produces a roaring, laugh-till-it-hurts good time at each performance.
