REGIME CHANGE IN THE U.S.

For your consideration:
The Nation has learned that the Bush Administration and the Pentagon have issued orders for a major "strike group" of ships, including the nuclear aircraft carrier Eisenhower as well as a cruiser, destroyer, frigate, submarine escort and supply ship, to head for the Persian Gulf, just off Iran's western coast. This information follows a report in the current issue of Time magazine, both online and in print, that a group of ships capable of mining harbors has received orders to be ready to sail for the Persian Gulf by October 1.
Blame my hysteria on my friend Hugo Zoom who sends me links to articles like this which only exacerbate my armageddonoid schizophrenia.

Believe it or not, Don(or should I call you Fiat? I mean, since I'm back to being Hugo...) I don't believe Junior is going to attack Iran.

The more Ahmedinejad mouths off about this and that, the more I'm convinced the Iranians feel secure in doing so, perhaps knowing something we don't-- like what really happened in 1980, perhaps.

I just wish Junior would go back to drinking and leave everybody alone. Or go hunting with Dick and they could leave Rice in charge. She would still be a weasel, but I don't think she gets off on threatening people quite the way Bush and Dick and Rummy do.
